Christa Denning
Christa Denning is a Houston-area native who has been a principal with Denning & Denning Design since 1991. She graduated in 1983 from Texas Tech University with a BFA in Design Communications and a double minor in illustration and package design.
Christa joined Winius Brandon Advertising in 1984 as a junior art director and worked on many major accounts and campaigns for clients including Pizza Hut, West End Lumber, McGinnis Cadillac, McGinnis Rolls Royce and Fingers Furniture. In 1985, Christa worked with the design firm Gluth Weaver Design gaining experience with clients including Browning-Ferris Industries, Cooper Industries, Pogo Producing Company and Mitchell Energy. In 1987, she joined Miller Judson and Ford as a designer/art director and helped manage design projects for clients such as Leslie & Company, Garnet Resources, The Woodlands, Vinson & Elkins and First City Bank. During her time at these firms, she developed a vast portfolio of experience in branding, annual reports, press kits, presentations, capability brochures, and print and online advertising.
Before she joined Jeff as a partner with Denning & Denning Design, Christa was a contract designer for Penny & Speier Advertising. There she worked on various development graphic design projects for Friendswood Development and Greatwood.
Christa is very proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications and has extensive knowledge of marketing, technology, image manipulation, editorial design, digital media and social media management. Some of her other talents are illustration and photography.
Outside her professional career, Christa pursues her interest in fine arts with watercolor and exploring nature through photography. She manages the Nature in Katy, Texas Facebook page, and as a public service, she encourages families and individuals to get outside and learn about nature in our area. Through the years, she has been active in the Girl Scouts of the USA program in the Houston area. She was recognized by the Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council in 2009 for helping with the Step into Scouting event that encouraged Katy area youth to join Scouting.

Jeff Denning
Jeff Denning has been a principal in Denning & Denning Design since it was established in 1991. He holds a BFA in Design Communications and a minor in photography from Texas Tech University.
After graduation in 1981, Jeff joined Bearden & Grimes, a design studio in Dallas, Texas and specialized in catalogs, logos, brochures, annual reports and promotional design. He also directed in-house photography and learned print production. Jeff was promoted to art director in 1983 and began working directly with clients. He was responsible for developing visual/verbal solutions and presentations of concepts for clients such as Southwest Airlines, Dr. Pepper and Anheuser-Busch.
In 1985, he joined Bozell & Jacobs as an art director, with emphasis on advertising creative development and proper implementation of the selected concept for media placement. Jeff was part of a team that worked on major projects for American Airlines, Bell Helicopter and Halliburton.
After a brief job search in Los Angeles, Jeff relocated to Houston in 1986 and joined Baxter + Korge as designer/art director. During his tenure, his project experience included annual reports, capabilities brochures, collateral materials, advertising campaigns and corporate identity for clients such as Memorial Healthcare, Sterling Chemicals and Texas Children’s Hospital. Working with his mentor, Fred Korge, Jeff directed his knowledge and understanding in the area of graphic standards and branding programs while focusing on the business side of a design studio.
Jeff started freelancing for some of the Houston’s top-notch design firms in 1987 and worked on projects for Southwestern Bell, Simpson Paper and Gerald D. Hines Interests.
In 1991, he established Denning & Denning Design as a quality-driven design firm in the Houston area producing award-winning work with a variety of clients in the healthcare, industrial, energy and education industries. He applies his experience in scheduling projects with vendors to deliver the best product possible in a timely manner.
Jeff enjoys golfing, gardening, bicycling, fishing and working on the family cars.
